CLINICAL INSTRUCTORS
Our community partners are integral to supporting McMaster Physiotherapy students as they apply their academic knowledge to clinical situations. Clinical partnerships are paramount to the success of our students as they develop into exemplary entry-level physiotherapists.
We expect our clinical partners to establish inclusive learning and working environments that are free from bias, racism, and oppression. We expect our partners to foster a culture that respects the human rights, integrity, and dignity of all individuals. In collaboration with the Physiotherapy Anti-Racism, Anti- Bias, Anti Oppression Committee, we offer a library of resources related to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. We encourage Clinical Instructors to review these resources and identify opportunities for learning, unlearning and self-directed growth and reflection. This is a general and evolving list of resources that will be updated on an annual basis. We recognize that in addition to the resources suggested in this library, there are several other valuable opportunities available.
We thank our partners for ensuring that our McMaster communities are spaces where no one feels excluded or marginalized, and everyone is able to enjoy learning together.
